BRI personnel, typically a literacy coach, provide literacy training and technical assistance in the schools, primarily in grades preK-3. The BRI coach provides mentoring and support to the K-3 teachers. This includes in-classroom work, provision of on-going professional development, and participation in Teacher Support Team meetings. Significant effort is also made to implement an effective Accelerated Reader program in each school.
